I am a two-time cancer survivor and I contribute my remission to my wonderful dog.
My husband bought him for me after I was diagnosed in December 1999. We named him Keymo to help us keep a positive, upbeat attitude.
During my chemotherapy sometimes I was so sick the only thing I could eat was ice cream sandwiches. Whenever I had one, we would always give Keymo a Frosty Paw. Keymo and I bonded during this difficult time. Even after my therapy was over we still shared our special time.
Then in January 2001, I was again told I had cancer. And again, I would have my ice cream and Keymo had his Frosty Paw.
I can’t explain enough how your Frosty Paws and my Keymo helped thru such a hard time and we still keep our tradition of enjoying our "ice cream".
